Is It Good To Eat Garlic On An Empty Stomach?

Garlic has multiple properties that help fight and prevent bone and cardiovascular problems. Its fasting benefits, on the other hand, are an urban legend.

Garlic is known for its particular flavor, which gives our dishes a very exquisite and special touch. But beyond being an excellent condiment, it has also become popular for its multiple health properties. Therefore, many questions arise, one of them is: is it good to eat garlic on an empty stomach?

Some people think that it has no effect, others say that it is really beneficial and effective in preventing a large number of health problems. The truth is that there is no scientific evidence to ensure that eating garlic on an empty stomach has more health benefits.

Although the smell and breath that garlic leaves do not exactly make it a people’s favorite, what is certain is that its medicinal properties make it one of the best foods that can be consumed daily to improve health.

Is it recommended to eat garlic on an empty stomach?

Eating garlic on an empty stomach does not enhance its antibiotic properties. This is about an urban legend.

Various researches have found that consuming garlic, in general, can help reduce the symptoms of hypertension. In addition to regulating blood circulation, it protects the bone system thanks to inulin.

Although garlic fasting is not considered healthy, it does not mean that it is harmful. It can be accompanied by a good toast, since, as we have mentioned, it has interesting properties related to the absorption of calcium.

It is believed that garlic would also help combat nerve or stress problems, as it would stimulate the secretion of serotonin, which is the hormone responsible for transmitting signals and regulating mood. However, there are no studies that validate these claims.
